XMMS is an audioplayer for Unix.
XMMS is an audio player based on the look of WinAmp. XMMS plays MPEG layer 1/2/3, Ogg Vorbis, WAV, all formats supported by libmikmod, and CD audio. XMMS has a plugin system for Input / Output / Effects / Visualization, and through plugins it can play a lot more sound and video formats.

This is the 10th year anniversary release of XMMS. Released exactly 1211 days after version 1.2.10, version 1.2.11 adds a new play queue manager, as well as a few other minor enhancements and bugfixes collected over the last three years.
