Automatic Drawing Generation is GObject-based library that provides a non-interactive Cairo canvas specifically designed for generating technical drawings
ADG is not a CAD system, but a library providing a non-interactive canvas where you can put common CAD entities, such as paths, xatches and quotes, to create your technical drawings.
If you want to develop an application that needs to show and print drawings and where some data change but the overall design is always the same, the ADG library comes in handy. In production factories this is often a good choice and could help to greatly improve the production in technical offices.
Requirements
This application requires GTK+ version 2.8.x.

The dependency on libgcontainer has been dropped: now the adg canvas requires only cairo and Gtk+2. This allows to try the demo program (demo/adg-demo) on any decent GNU/Linux distribution without installing anything.
