osm-gps-map is a Gtk+ widget for navigating openstreetmap, openaerialmap, and other rasterized map data. Also includes python bindings.
In addition to passively showing maps, the widget also allows;
* Supports multiple map sources (OSM,OAM,maps-for-free, etc)
* Zoom, dragging the map, all that normal stuff
* Caches tiles offline to save downloads
* Can pre cache areas of the map ahead of time
* Addition of multiple points of interest
* Plotting of an incoming GPS data stream as a track on top of the map, including autozoom and autocenterting of map about the latest gps point
* Plotting of multiple other tracks on the map
* Configurable (gobject props)
* Cache dir
* Web Proxy
* Map URI
* Recording and Showing of incoming GPS points
* zoom/lat/lon, etc
Requirements
This application requires GTK+ version 2.10.x.
